Ghana Culture Week, Prague is an initiative of Accra Art Week which brings core elements of Ghanaian Culture as a showcase to audiences in the Czech Republic. Bringing Ghanaian Culture closer to audiences who may otherwise not have any access to it.

Between 6th-10th March. With support from the Embassy of Ghana in Prague, the Czech National Film Archive among other partners, the event will feature film screenings, art exhibitions, and panel discussions.

The purpose of this is to;
● Foster deeper cultural exchange between Ghana and the Czech Republic through creative dialogue and shared experiences.
● Increase awareness and appreciation of Ghanaian art, film, fashion, and contemporary cultural expressions among audiences in Prague.
● Create a platform for Ghanaian creatives to showcase their work internationally and connect with European cultural institutions, curators, and audiences.
● Encourage cross-cultural collaboration and future partnerships between Ghanaian and Czech artists, filmmakers, and cultural organizations.
● Contribute to a more diverse and inclusive cultural landscape in Prague by highlighting African narratives from a Ghanaian perspective.
