Together with the NFA, we invite you to a debate with South African filmmaker Phumi Morare. She “is an NAACP Image Award-winning, Oscar-shortlisted writer/director from South Africa. She is passionate about redeeming the African and feminine identity in cinema. She explores the Black female gaze in telling intimate stories of ordinary heroes, people of color, and women.” (from her website)
The event will take place on 21/2 from 4:00 PM in the building of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University (room 429, 4th floor, Faculty of Arts, nám. Jana Palacha 1/2).
